What I hope to have here (aside from poorly designed web pages. This site
isn't about beauty) is a way to manage some of the dynamic elements
you might use in forums.
The dynamic avatar management system is up and running. You can now manage your dynamic avatar and even create sets that you can switch between without having to upload and delete images. When you upload a file, simply choose the set you wish to place it in . Create new sets and switch between them as often as you wish.
In the works now is a dynamic signature tool, plus a few more goodies for avatar management.
2.21.2007 - Other Stuff?
While the dynamic avatar seems to be running well, the rest of this site has come to a standstill. I've been a bit busy and haven't done much at all with the site. I got an interesting idea the other day and have already taken steps in to getting this to work. The idea? It's really simple but would be popular from what I understand. I'm going to call it MySnoop. It's a way to tell who's been viewing your MySpace account. While the underlying code is already working, I need to create a polished interface that ties in with your account here. Hopefully this will be done by the end of this month.
2.1.2006 - Dynamic Avatars Beta.
The dynamic avatar management system is up and running and I already have a couple of beta testers who volunteered to help out by signing up for an account. I have to say it is working very nicely, and I'm even a little impressed at how well things are going here. For now new accounts are on pending status until approved, but that probably won't be the norm in the future.
For those of you wondering about the current bandwidth and filespace text you see when after logging in, it's just a FYI thing. I don't think anyone will scarf down half a gig of bandwidth in a month, but I need a little safety net on this end just in case.
1.27.2006 - New Web Host.
Well, my old webhost that I've had since June of 2004 has become so unreliable I've been forced to jump to a new one. Actully this is a good thing for me. The server is local here in Dallas now so updating files on the server takes no time. Hopefully the service will be better for everyone else as well. I did manage to get a couple of things done yesterday, but not a lot since my old crummy host was belly-up most of the time.
1.25.2006 - Image Preview.
Have you ever accidentally deleted the wrong image from your avatar set? Not anymore. The image management box now has a preview feature that lets you see the selected image. For bandwidth purposes I'm not going to preload every image you have so there might be a slight delay if you have a dial-up account. Didn't get too much else done yesterday. I spent my extra time watching all the idiots on American Idol who thought they could sing. Still hoping to have this mostly functional by the end of this weekend.

1.24.2006 - More Progress.
Uploading and deleting of images is now working along with a lot of behind the scene stuff that makes having sets of avatars work. As soon as I work out a couple of issues on bandwidth monitoring the random avatar will be ready to use. I suppose I need to add in a tool to let you make a new set label.
1.23.2006 - Progress.
Well, now you can actually create a user account if you go to the avatar page. Currently logging in just works but there are no avatar tools just yet. Hopefully much of the avatar management will be working by this weekend.

Day 1 of the site. If you're a poor unforutnate individual that has stumbled onto this site, you'll find to your dismay that nothing works.
